# Privacy

The short version: this website collects nothing about you. When you book a call or email me, I use what you send to have that conversation, and nothing else.

## Who is responsible

Thijs Kleijn, an independent consultant registered in the Netherlands (VAT ID NL002436547B37), is responsible for the personal data described here. Questions or requests go to [thijs@thijskleijn.com](mailto:thijs@thijskleijn.com).

## This website

- No cookies, no analytics or tracking scripts, no advertising and no forms.
- The fonts and images are served from this site itself, so no font or image service sees your visit.
- The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for, to deliver the page and protect it against abuse. I only see totals, never individual visitors.

## When you book a call

The booking button opens Cal.com, a separate scheduling service. It asks for your name, your email address, the time you pick and anything you choose to write about what you want to discuss. I use that to prepare for and hold the call. Cal.com processes it on my behalf, and its own privacy policy covers how it stores it.

With your permission, I record and transcribe our call, so I can work from what you actually said rather than from my notes. I ask at the start, and a no changes nothing about the call.

## When you email me

I use your email and what you write to reply. It stays in my mailbox and is not added to any list.

## When I reach out to you first

To find training businesses that might be a fit, I use publicly available professional information: your name, role, company, public posts and business contact details. I do this on the basis of legitimate interest, keep it to what is needed for one relevant message, and say where I found you. If you tell me you are not interested, I stop and delete what I hold about you.

## When we work together

Your system runs in your own accounts. Your data lives in your systems; I do not export it or keep my own copy. Before I touch any personal data in your business, we sign a processing agreement that lists every service involved, and at the end of an engagement my access is removed as a written step.

## How long I keep things

Booking details, emails and call recordings are kept as long as they are useful for our conversation or our work together. If we do not end up working together, I delete them within twelve months, or sooner if you ask.

## Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to see the personal data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how I use it. Email me and I will answer within one month. If you think I have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
